73-77 Grove Road is an apartment building at Redbridge,E18: eighteen apartments are arranged over four floors. The site's proximity to the A406 North Circular and its southerly aspect set up a parti whereby living spaces face the sun and buffer bedrooms from road noise. The red brick and render elevations respect locally used materials and the offsetting of the front elevation picks up the scale and rhythm of the surrounding houses. The design includes landscape works to the adjacent open space enhancing the setting to the new building as well as improving public amenity space.
