Markland Klaschka has a growing reputation as one of the most technically advanced design studios in the UK. We are leaders in the intelligent use of computer modelling for building projects with new developments geared to significantly improving client service. We are currently writing the next edition of the RIBA Good Practice Guide to IT Management for Architects.
The practice has a strong design agenda centring on urban and environmental issues. We believe in the potential for architecture to improve people’s lives through the creation of great places. Our design experience covers a wide range of briefs and scales for clients with equally diverse backgrounds. This breadth gives us the insight to see how many points of view come together to make cities work.
Independent research is an important part of our approach. More radical ways our cities can be structured are tested through building concepts. Technical, programmatic, and formal ideas can then be transferred to live projects.
We are also innovators in business relations, developing niche services for a changing construction industry. An example of this is the rapid scheduling and quantification information we provide contractors to achieve more accurate costings in their tenders.
